The International Symposium Respiratory RNA viruses: from the laboratory to the clinic

The “International Symposium Respiratory RNA viruses: from the laboratory to the clinic” took place in Marburg and counted with the presence of several renowned scientists. On the session of tissue remodeling and repair after viral infections, Prof. El Agha presented his lab work on investigating the mesenchymal niche in pneumonia-induced ARDS. To end the session on tissue remodeling and repair, Prof. Susanne Herold also highlighted our labs work on macrophage (re-)programming to drive tissue repair after virus-induced lung injury.
